Dr. Hirsch completed his dental training at McGill University and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1993. While in his in last year of dentistry at McGill, Dr. Hirsch served as President of the Graduating Class as well as the President of the Dental Fraternity, also acting as the student member of the Curriculum Committee. During his studies, Dr. Hirsch has been recognized for many different accomplishments and prizes.

Dr. Hirsch then went on to complete orthodontic training at University of Detroit Mercy, where he received a Certificate in Orthodontics (Cert. Ortho) as well as a Master of Science (M.S.) degree. He is recognized by groups such as the Canadian Association of Orthodontists, Ontario Association of Orthodontists, and American Association of Orthodontists.
